Company History: GLARE Marine Services Bogo
GLARE Marine Services Bogo was born out of a vision to address a significant need in the northern part of Cebu. Recognizing the struggle of seafarers who had to travel four hours to access review centers, Capt. Lloyd Wally D. Aguanta, along with his wife, Lorna V. Aguanta, identified an opportunity to serve the local community of Bogohanon seafarers. They aimed to create a business that would allow seafarers to prepare for their careers without sacrificing valuable time away from their families.
With strategic planning and collaboration, the couple established GLARE Marine Services Bogo in just two months. Leveraging Capt. Aguanta’s connections, they acquired the name GLARE from a trusted colleague, while Lorna spearheaded the office renovations. Capt. Aguanta, meanwhile, focused on the technical and operational aspects of the review center. On September 8, 2016, GLARE Marine Services Bogo officially opened its doors, offering a specialized service for northern Cebu’s maritime professionals.
In its inaugural year, GLARE Marine Services Bogo successfully helped 60 seafarers pass their exams, marking the beginning of a trusted partnership with the local community. The company’s growth and success are driven by its dedication to excellence and unwavering faith in the guidance of the Almighty.
GLARE Marine Services continues to produce a high number of passers, making it a key player in the region’s maritime education landscape. With a focus on quality training and a deep commitment to its clients, GLARE is poised for continued growth and impact in the years to come

Nothing beats traditional “chalk and board session” or in these age” pen and whiteboard to ensure all our reviewers fully grasp the knowledge. This is the most effective method of learning. “You ask we answer”
